Why We Choose Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream at Balderson Village Cheese Store

Some treats belong in a visit to the village: good cheese, a little time to browse, and an ice cream worth slowing down for. At Balderson Village Cheese Store, Kawartha Dairy is our choice for that last part.

Why do we choose it above all others? For us, it comes down to the pleasure of a good scoop and how naturally it fits the experience we want to share with our customers. We’re not here to claim that every other ice cream falls short. We’re here to tell you why this is the one we’re proud to serve.

Flavour comes first

Ice cream should feel like a treat from the very first taste. What we love about Kawartha Dairy is the satisfying, creamy character that makes a simple scoop something to savour. Whether you lean toward a familiar favourite or feel like trying something different, the best choice is the one that makes you smile.

A good fit for a cheese-loving store

Our store is built around the enjoyment of good food. Cheese and ice cream may play different roles in your day, but both invite you to pause, enjoy the flavour, and share a moment with someone else. Kawartha Dairy fits that spirit beautifully.

We choose what we serve with our customers in mind. An ice cream stop should feel just as worthwhile as choosing something delicious to take home.

Part of the village experience

A visit to Balderson doesn’t need to be rushed. Browse, pick out a few favourites, and leave a little room for a treat. For us, Kawartha Dairy ice cream belongs in that kind of day: easygoing, enjoyable, and best shared in good company.

It can be the finishing touch to a family outing, a break during a drive, or simply a good reason to stop by.

Our favourite, without putting others down

Choosing Kawartha Dairy above all others is our preference, not a claim that there’s only one way to make great ice cream. We love what it brings to our store and to the moments our customers spend here. That’s a better reason to choose a product than any grand promise about being “the best.”
